The Writing and Presentation Center in the Student Success Center helps students improve the way they communicate what they have learned.

Writing Center

The Writing Center is a free service for students working on any writing project, from an academic essay to curriculum vitae (CV). If your project involves writing, we are here to help.

Writing Center staff guide students based on their individual needs. You may need help with basic writing skills, or with APA/MLA writing styles. Your project may be writing a personal statement or revising your dissertation. Whatever your needs, we can help you improve the quality of your writing.

We will also help you understand and avoid plagiarism, by submitting papers on behalf of students to Turnitin or SafeAssign, our plagiarism checking software.

Presentation Center

The Presentation Center provides students a place to practice and record presentations. Our state-of-the-art  recording studio enables faculty, staff & students to produce quality audio and video. This studio provides an acoustically neutral and adjustable environment free of machine and air handler noise, and meets the highest standards of sound recording technology.

Schedule an appointment to practice a presentation, record and critique your presentation using audio and/or video, or critique and develop a slide presentation.
